DMCA & DSA Takedown Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

Mystor respects intellectual property rights and expects creators using the platform to do the same. This policy explains how to report copyright infringement and illegal content in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).

1. Platform Role

Mystor is a digital marketplace that allows independent creators to publish educational guides. Mystor acts as a hosting provider and does not pre-approve user-generated content.

Mystor may review, restrict, or remove content in response to valid notices, legal obligations, or policy violations.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

If you believe content on Mystor infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.

Your notice should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including a URL or sufficient information to locate it
  • Your name and contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. Reporting Illegal Content (EU DSA)

If you believe content on Mystor is illegal under applicable law, you may submit a notice.

A valid notice should include:

  • A clear explanation of why the content is illegal
  • The exact location of the content (URL or guide reference)
  • Your contact information
  • Any supporting evidence, where available

Notices that provide sufficient detail may be processed more quickly.

4. Review and Action

Upon receiving a notice, Mystor may:

  • Remove or disable access to the content
  • Request additional information
  • Notify the creator responsible for the content
  • Restrict or suspend accounts in cases of serious or repeated violations

Actions are taken based on available information, applicable laws, and platform policies.

5. Counter-Notification and Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or restricted in error, you may submit a counter-notification or appeal.

Your submission should include identification of the affected content, an explanation of why the removal was incorrect, and your contact details.

Mystor may review the request and restore content where appropriate.

6. Abuse of the Reporting Process

Submitting false, misleading, or abusive notices may result in account restrictions or other action. Mystor reserves the right to reject incomplete or clearly unfounded notices.

7. Contact for Notices

All notices and reports should be sent to:
